A lifelong townie on I-Rock? That's weird.
[I-ROCK] So it's been a while since we last talked to you, what's new?
[Bender] Well, my fantasy teams this year sucked. So I lost a lot of money on that. I finally got my grades up at HCC so I can transfer to ISU in the fall, who knew that ISU had standards so low that I couldn't even get in.
[I-ROCK] What do you do when your not at the station?
[Bender] Usually I just sit at home and watch TV. I plan out my week based around certain shows on given nights. It might be sad, but I don't care. I go to every Praire Thunder game which is pretty fun, I try to attend a bunch of different sports around town as long as they don't cut into my TV schedule, pretty sad really.
[I-ROCK] What else?
[Bender] I do watch a lot of sports on TV, still sad, but I don't care. I try to stay up to date on current issues which can be boring at times. I have started to play my Xbox 360 more which is pretty sweet. My game of choice is NHL 10. In my opinion, the best sports game of all time. It's so realistic and the gameplay is easy to pick up, hopefully I don't sound like too much of a nerd...
[I-ROCK] Anything else to say before you go?
[Bender] Well, I will just say this. As much as I like Facebook, I do hate people who update their status every 5 minutes and have nothing useful to say. Why do I need to know that your dog vomited on the carpet? I have no need to know that you are gonna have a hard day tomorrow because you have to work all day. There's a solution to that, QUIT!!! I'm gonna go before I offend anyone, see ya. Yalban!
